Will RIDE support Tasks definition?

Hi, I’ve seen Robot Framework is evolving as RPA tool so now a project may contain Tasks other than Test Cases. Is RIDE V2 is going to support Tasks?

RIDE already supports Tasks, is a matter of renaming the section.

Hi Helio, thank for you reply. No doubt that tasks run with RIDE, but I expected a support a UI level. Task is not mentioned in any menu entry, for example I can see New Test Case, but don’t see a New Task. I understand that it’s a matter of renaming, but I believe that it would be better having separated entries. I would suggest to give the user the chance to select the kind of project ( test or rpa) in New Project pop up, and then show the proper menu.

Yes, it is a good proposal, and now I have created a task for it.
