Robot Framework 6.1 rc 1 has been released!

Robot Framework 6.1 is a new feature release with support for converting Robot Framework data to JSON and back, a new external parser API, possibility to mix embedded and normal arguments, and various other interesting new features both for normal users and for external tool developers. This release candidate contains all planned fixes and features. We hope that all Robot Framework users could test it in their environments to help us find possible regressions before the final release.

Installing the release candidate using pip is as easy as running:

pip install --upgrade --pre robotframework

For more information about what’s new and what’s enhanced, see the release notes.

The final release is targeted for Monday, June 12. If you encounter any problems, please submit an issue.
