Dear community,

we are proud to introduce a new keyword library
RobotFramework-UDS · PyPI

Hi Thomas,

You have many interesting ecosystem tools and libraries in Robitframework-AIO. Your projects popped up in my feed a while ago, but they somehow keep staying under my radar. Did you consider presenting them on Robocon? The CFP is still open for a day: https://robocon.io

Robocon is a the most intense way to get feedback. A few hundred friendly and supportive engineers from all over the world with all kind of different project backgrounds.

If the deadline for the cfp too close, an abstract is sufficient for adding the proposal. The details can still be edited after the proposal has been submitted.

Would be really cool!

Cheers,
Markus

Thanks for sharing @ThPoll! You might reach additional people, if you also post to RobotFramework slack, in the #announcements channel for instance. You might also be interested to join the #embedded channel.

Hi @Noordsestern ,
Thank you very much for your positive feedback. Unfortunately, due to family reasons, I won’t be able to join Robocon this year, but I would be very interested in attending and contributing in the future.

Our RobotFramework-AIO and its components have reached a good level of maturity, and we will be making more posts soon. A special thanks to @FrancisG as well. I’ll also try to contribute on Slack.

Have a great day!

Best regards,
Thomas

Family is a good reason to miss out on Robocon.

Don’t want to push you into anything, but talks to Robocon online are recorded. It is an awesome event to, with a lot of interaction, but it does not require traveling. And once get drop out when life calls.

Whenever you have time, I am looking forward

Hi @Noordsestern ,

Thank you for the information! I wasn’t aware that it’s possible to speak at Robocon without traveling there. I tried in the morning to register via the CFP page, but it seems the submission is already closed. Is there another way to register?

I would like to speak remotely. There’s a small chance I might be able to attend in-person in Helsinki, but remote would be my preference.

Thanks again, and have a great day!

Best regards,
Thomas
