Hello, i need flaui inspector app, i downloaded it but i could not launch it. Can someone help me about how to launch the app by using the zip on the github?
It’s been a while since I installed it but did you go via the official Chocolatey website? Then in PowerShell you’d
choco install flauinspect
There should be a good few guides out there with a quick google search/youtube?
Other than that, we’ve no idea on your operating system or what the message was/error if any when your tried to open it, or what steps you took to install it.
Hope this helps
Firstly, thank you for your answer. Actuallly, I will use this in a secured computer that is why to be able to use Chocolatey I need to get permission. To eliminate this step, I tried to use it by downloading the zip file from the github. Also I used it before like this. But maybe because of the version O downloaded, I could not figure out how to launch it now. I wonder about whether there is any other step or where the .exe file is.
Hi emircankilic Ive sent you a direct message with a link to the compiled .exe from the .sln from downloading from Github, let me know if that works
I have the package already installed locally, so its possible you’ll need further dependencies, but I was able to run the .exe from what was complied.
Hi @emircankilic,
If I remember correctly if you download the .zip release from releases page the exe you need is in the zip along with and dll’s you need.
It’s been many years since I used FlaUI so not sure if that method still works and I don’t have a windows machine I can test it on right now.
Dave.
Hi, again,
I downloaded and tried the link you sent. And it worked, thanks for your help.
