Huge thanks to the Robot Framework Foundation and its 80+ member organizations for their continued support. Without them, Robot Framework development and maintenance would not be possible. Join the journey — support the project by joining the Foundation!

Enourmous thanks also to the awesome Robot Framework community that has provided a huge amount of valuable contributions. There are too many contributions to list here, they are listed at the end of the release notes, but I’d like to especially thank Tatu Aalto (@aaltat) for all his work. Thanks also to his employer OP, a member of the Robot Framework Foundation, for dedicating work time to make this happen!

The final release is targeted for Monday, September 14, 2026. We hope that users could test the release candidate in their environments before that. That helps ensuring that we have not broken anything important for you!
