Hi all
I would like to hide a Keyword in the tests log output.
Sor example the sleep output.
![]()
Is there a possibility to do that? and how?
Thanks in advance

Maybe this helps
In the Robot Framework user guide is a section: 3.6.6 Removing and flattening keywords
I’d seen the flattening keywords mentioned at a previous robocon and went looking for it for your question, but then I see there’s also an option to remove keywords matching a pattern which I think is more what you want.
You can either use this argument when you run your test, or you can use rebot to regenerate the log with them removed for tests you’ve already run.
Hopefully that’s what your looking for,
Dave.
If you only want to hide the Sleep output (rather than strip things after the run), you can also control it from inside the suite with Set Log Level, which returns the previous level so you can restore it:
*** Test Cases ***
Example
${old}= Set Log Level NONE
Sleep 5s
Set Log Level ${old}
Keywords executed while the level is NONE don’t write their messages or child keywords to log.html (the two Set Log Level calls themselves still show up). For the command line approach mentioned above, something like robot --removekeywords NAME:BuiltIn.Sleep tests/ removes the content of just that keyword, and you can repeat the option for other noisy keywords.
