UnicodeDecodeError with PostgreSQL database

UnicodeDecodeError: 'ascii' codec can't decode

@{query_result}= Query ${sql} => UnicodeDecodeError: ‘ascii’ codec can’t decode byte 0xc3 in position 6: ordinal not in range(128) When doing query and database has “öäå”, this problem occurs. Could someone give simple solution how to fix this…how&where to enter “Encode String To Bytes” if that is the correct answer to solve this problem?

Is this a problem that could be fixed by DatabaseLibrary?

I thought this would have been an issue that would have come up…or is it so that RobotFramework is not used so much with PostgreSQL Database?

If this issue does not belong to DatabaseLibrary, could someone please help me to find the correct place where this problem can be solved

As far as I know, I am using psycopg2 as the driver for PostgreSQL.
