The reason for the double release is that there was a mistake when building RF 7.2.1 and thus RF 7.2.2 was needed. Anyway, all reported regressions in RF 7.2 have now been fixed along with few bugs affecting also older versions. For more information about what exactly has been fixed, see the release notes:

After this the plan is to concentrate on Robot Framework 7.3. I’ll send more information about the release planning to the `#roadmap` channel on our Slack in the near future.
