# Is it possible to run 2 keywords in robotframework run parallely?

I want to run 2 keywords parallely so second keyword should not wait untill the execution of first keyword is completed

I did a quick search and found this article, hopefully that will help

I also thought that since robot framework is python based, it might be possible to use the [python threading module](https://docs.python.org/3.8/library/threading.html#module-threading) to acheive what you want to do, but I don’t know of an example for that.

I do not know a ready made library that can do that.

Howevery in the [Browser](https://browser.fi) library we have that concept.  
All our own keywords can be executed as a thread using the `Promise To` keyword.

We use a ThreadPoolExecutor for that.
