Recently I have obtained a free temporary subscription o Claude Pro Max (for Open Source projects). So far the use has been great because it is helping me to fix long time existing bugs.

Today’s `develop` version, 2.2.5dev6, includes a fix proposed by Claude on the File Explorer.

Here is the conversation I have taken using PyCharm Community Edition with Claude extension:

[https://claude.ai/code/session\_016KzatkcyP3GfjMcQk6ovfp](https://claude.ai/code/session_016KzatkcyP3GfjMcQk6ovfp) (please ignore the initial failed login and the name of the session)

The recommended process to install the `develop` version, is to install first the released version, and then _Help-\>Check for Upgrade_.

`pip install -U robotframework-ride`

Another collaboration with Claude, results in fixing a long time existing issue. The disappearing of project tree when docking the Project Explorer (Test Suites panel).

The next session is the fix for the missing Tree elements after editing a directory node.

My prompt was:

```python
The on_saving method of TreePlugin class, now fixes the broken tree when a directory __init__.robot file is edited and saved. A Tree method
  `select_node_by_name` is called when the directory is edited, to attempt to restore the selected element in the tree, as before saving. This needs to be fixed
  because it selects the parent, instead of the correct element. Suggestions to fix this?
```

I’d be interested in reading the sessions, but they’re behind a login; you must have an account to access them.
